Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip

The Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip is the official accessory that combines Joy-Con 2 controllers (sold separately) into a traditional controller for comfortable handheld play while doubling as a charging dock. Released alongside the Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, it addresses common complaints about Joy-Con ergonomics and battery life during docked or extended sessions. Featuring programmable GL/GR back buttons, it’s ideal for games like Mario Kart World or Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom 2, and plugs into the Switch 2 dock via USB-C for passthrough charging.
