Nintendo Switch 2 Super Mario Party Jamboree

Nintendo Switch 2 Super Mario Party Jamboree

Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is an enhanced port of the 2024 Switch hit party game from Nintendo Cube (formerly NDcube), published by Nintendo. It includes the full base game (7 boards, 112+ minigames, 22 characters) plus Switch 2-exclusive Jamboree TV—a Toad-hosted game show mode with 20 new minigames using Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, built-in mic, HD Rumble 2, and optional USB-C camera for video chat/CameraPlay (see your face in-game!). Released July 24, 2025, it’s backward compatible—play base content on original Switch, share via GameShare (host up to 4 players on Mega Wiggler’s Tree Party + 30 minigames with one copy).

Perfect for family multiplayer, with online modes like Koopathlon (20 players) and Bowser Kaboom Squad. Base game earned “one of the best Mario Party ever” praise; Switch 2 adds flair but splits content (base vs. TV mode), drawing mixed reactions.

Performance & Reviews

Strengths: “Huge shot in the arm” for base excellence—fun boards/minigames, family bliss; TV mode shines with mouse/mic/camera antics; patches fixed res bumps/stability. Nintendo Life/GameXplain: 9/10, “best Mario Party yet.”
Issues: Content silos (base unupgraded at launch); pricey for owners; online gripes, no Pro rules in TV; early perf dips (patched). IGN: Sloppy separation.
Scores: Generally favorable (Metacritic high for series); Switch 2 boosts portability/multiplayer.
